The programme is designed to provide participants with both theoretical and practical training while developing the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and professional behaviours required for the effective and efficient performance of tax management responsibilities. The opening session was chaired by Cl\u00e1udia Sim\u00f5es, President of the School of Economics and Management at the University of Minho, and Beatriz Casais, Director of UMinhoExec. The event was also attended by Helena Borges, Director-General of the Portuguese Tax and Customs Authority, and Paulo Sanches Seguro, Chair of the Programme Committee for the Tax Authority Managers Programme.
